The first annual Utah Authors Day was a smash!

Here are some politics we can all get behind: Utah Governor Spencer Cox declared today, December 4, 2021, as “Utah Authors Day.” Check out his official declaration:

To celebrate, the League of Utah Writers partnered with Utah Humanities, the Salt Lake County Library, and Weber County Library to host group signing events featuring Utah authors. I was honored to be one of those featured authors and loved spending the day at Weber County Library’s Southwest Branch in Roy meeting other authors, connecting with readers and librarians, and even getting my Soul Searchers Mysteries series added to the library’s wonderful collection.

Due to the pandemic and the extra risks that come with any illness when you have epilepsy, this was the first public signing event I’ve done since February 2020. I’m not sure when the stars will align for me to do one again, but hopefully soon. After all, I have the releases of Donn’s Legacy and Dread Softly to celebrate! 🙂
