Once again, I got to work with the incredible Jessica McEvoy for the narration on this project. I’m super lucky she’s been willing to be my narrator, because she doesn’t just read these books; she performs them. She brings out all the emotions Mac is feeling, and her narration makes the funny parts even funnier and the scary parts even scarier.

What’s next for the Soul Searchers, you might be wondering? Well…. book 3 is in progress! It’s been going slower than I thought it would, but I’m chugging along with it. Turns out finishing a series is even harder than starting one – who knew? I feel an intense pressure to wrap up Mac’s story just right, because this time, she won’t just be solving a murder. She’ll be getting the answers she’s been needing to (nearly) all the questions that have been plaguing her since the beginning of the first book. I definitely don’t want to mess it up, but I promise not to let my self-doubt keep this book out of your hands much longer. 🙂
